An internet outage is being reported by people across the country who use CenturyLink for their service provider.
According to the website downdetector.com the outage is affecting many areas in Idaho, including Boise.
The Idaho Department of Correction posted a tweet announcing that the outage is affecting its services as well, including the inmate phone system and JPay.
The Idaho Department of Labor offices in some cities were also affected.
CenturyLink issued the following statement about the outage:
“Our network is experiencing a disruption affecting customer services. We understand some customers are currently unable to generate tickets through the CenturyLink help portal. We know how important these services are to our customers and we are working to restore services as quickly as possible.”
